Building client base, any ideas, advice, input?

Hello,

I'm new at this site...adn at nails (5 months) needless to say i have a lot to learn!

I just started in a hair salon last week (a very slow salon as I can see so far :cry. I need to build a client base to work more...

Any ideas and advice from you experienced nail techs?

Just start by telling everyone you know you're (becoming) a nail technician. Print soms businesscards and hand them out to the moms at your kids schools, neighbours, friends etc.
Make a good and informative website (this attrackts the most people in my case) and start spreading flyers around the neighbourhood.
This will do the trick for the biggest part.

Offcourse, make sure your prices are acceptable and your work is perfect.
