Hi. I currently work at a day spa but will soon be offering services from home such as facials and waxing also. I am trying to create my own business cards and need some help. Two questions:
1. Are visual pictures to give ideas of services you offer important? Was thinking of having picture of smooth legs and facial picture such as the one I use on here. Or, was thinking of having something different such as a butterfly since I have a love for butterflies. Not sure since it has nothing to do with skincare though.
2. Also, would like to have a slogan or nice wording on the card such as "Skin is the window to the body's overall health" OR "Your skin is your reflexion".

Your opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hi,

I love 'your skin is your reflexion' that sounds lovely the other is nice to but bear in mind that your buisiness cards are quite small so may be a bit long.

I have just finished my spray tan buisiness cards and don't have pics on but I chose a really bright funky modern design that is bound to catch peoples eye,

I dont supose it really matters, chose something that you really like and that you could use easily on other marketing materials if that makes sense? it took me ages to decide on mine but I love them now.

I have to say that everyone comments on my business cards. Sometimes they are the first impression someone gets of your business and i think it's important to get it right. I have no pictures on mine. I just have my logo, address, phone number and email address and people still say they are the nicest cards they have ever seen.
Sometimes pictures can detract from what you are trying to sell. I will try and get some pics on my profile (no that's a lie! I will get my daughter to do it for me!)
My cards are clear frosted plastic and have gold writing on. I know they cost more than the card ones but people tend to keep them as they last longer and i got a great deal on them. I got 1000 for £150 but i really do think they are better.
I have so many tatty business cards in my purse and when i clear my purse out i usually throw them out and jot the phone numbers down, which i invariably lose!

Hi

I just have my logo and a bit of what I do underneath then my contact details from telephone, email and website. I did my own on Publisher and bought the business cards from Staples

HTH
:)

Thanks for everyone's input. Yes, I agree, business cards can be a first impression. That's why I want to get it right. I don't have a logo but I'm leaning more toward being different instead of the usual facial picture. Thanks again and I would love to see your business cards. When you get it loaded let me know. Thanks.
