Business start up funding

Does anyone know if there's any hair/beauty business startup funding help in Scotland? I'm over 30 so i know this puts princes trust and business gateway out the window for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I know of one chairty that maybe able to help but you never know with everything going on but you could give them a try. It's set up by a family that's son was killed in 9/11. I don't have the info with me at the moment but I'l put it on here tomorrow so you can have a look.

There is also Duke of Edinburgh Award, but not sure how this will apply to you being over 30?!

This one costs £39 every 30 days. has anyone tried it? I always think these things look like scams

look up your local council, or bgateway should help point you in the right direction, i think £500 is the max you can claim for start up. www.bgateway.com
