can gel get overcured?

I was wondering if gel can get over-cured if you leave it for a minute or so longer in the lamp. Or does the curing process just stops after a surtain amount of minutes?

I thought aswell that the curing process automatically stopped when the recommended amount of minutes would have passed.

No worries, I just remembered that thread so it was easy for me to find. I too was surprised by the answer as I was originally taught that when the gel is cured in the lamp then that is it, it can't cure any more and overcure wasn't possible.
