Hi,
Client came in yesterday for an infill on her blue nails which I did two weeks ago. Extensions using acrylic and blue gel polish/holographic.

Could I have done this any differently?
De-bulked nails and took down and changed shape.
In filled with clear acrylic, filled and refined nails, applied natural gel polish colour and large glitter to free edge then encapsulated with a hard gel, buffed, top coated, oil.
I'm sure I could have done this a lot quicker using all acrylic?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks Jo.

Yes you could have used blue powder BUT if the client regularly likes a total colour change it's easier they way you did it. If you did it with blue powder you would have needed to put down a thin clear base first, then the blue, then cap in clear for strength and structure (unless using a strength powder).

Can I ask what glitter that is please? It's lovely x

Not too sure, I was given it a while ago and I only have a tiny bit left, everybody loves it lol. I was going to ask glitterarty nails if they stock it. Xx
