Can you relax curly lashes?

Does anyone know if really curly lashes can be straightened/relaxed? I have a lady that wants extensions but the lashes are really screwed up (she is Afro carribean) - is there such a treatment?

I have done this before with lash lifting/perming products to relax lashes which have taken too well and are touching the eyelid. You just comb the perming solution down through the lashes with the eyes shut, leave for a minute and then wipe away with dry cotton pad, then do the same with the setting solution, then remove thoroughly. If it is not relaxed enough, you can do again same process. Some lashes relax quicker than others.
