Hi guys,
I wonder if you could help me, two weeks ago I bought a new carlton classic galvanic unit. And i wander if it works properly. When I do a treatment on the negative pole you hardly can feel any tingle even when I go to 1 milliamps (which is a maximum on that machine). So my question is what is the maximum you can have the setting for the face? The unit I had before felt a lot more stronger and I used to use current 0.6 milliamps. Has anyone ever worked with carlton classic galvanic?
I will be very thankful for your help:hug:

This is a common misconception when working with a galvanic treatment! Your nerves do not need to register that anything is happening!! The current will be working to push the products in whether or not you can feel anything; your nerve endings being aware of a "tingling" is irrelevant.

Don't worry about not being able to feel much - if you're using the unit correctly, you should see the results of it in your skin at the end of the treatment. Generally for a galvanic facial treatment the maximum intensity I would use would be 0.25mA, but I'm sure other geeks have other opinions.

Hope that helps a bit!!

I have the same machine. The client does not necessarily feel any tingling, it does vary between clients.

These are the setting I current work with:-

For sensitive skin - 1.6mA
For normal skin - 0.2mA
For oily skin - 0.23mA

With this machine I believe the max is about 2.6mA.

EDITED - Sensitive 0.16mA

Thanks for that.
Sorry, but i don't think i understood you correctly the higher mA like 1.6 is for sensitive skin and lower 0.2 is for the less sensitive like oily:rolleyes:? Sorry, if got you wrong. Thanks again
