Cash flow sheet

Hey geeks!

I really need some help with my cash flow/financial forecast sheet for my business plan.
I am really very bad with anything to do with numbers, very bad!(even reading telephone numbers requires concentration) So no amount of trying to do my forecast or reading up about it is really helping me to get on and do it.
I've downloaded templates, but I just don't know where to start? I would rather do it on a piece of paper than sit looking at a excel sheet aimlessly.

Can anyone recommend something step by step to help me out?

Not sure of I can be much help but i had too do these and still do a basic cash flow forecast should include 12 months along the top and then down the side you need : earnings, expenses such as rent, loans repayments etc, outgoings such as products etc, you do this for each month add up how much you have coming in and then minus what's going out, I always put that I will earn more during certain times of the year for example around Christmas valentines Mother's Day etc, And then at the bottom of the sheet you put your results for each month.
