Hi,

I was just wondering how people go around Christmas?

Im hoping this is going too be my first busy Christmas, and should I be taking a deposit..?

If so what dates do you take your deposit from? As Christmas this year is a Wednesday. So would you take you deposit from the Wednesday befor eor ealier?

And do you refund it too the client or just minus it from the total of their treatment christmas week?

Thanks x

I don't take deposits. I tend to get very booked up very early on, and usually have a list of people who I know want treatments if I get a cancellation. I don't tend to get many cancellations as people know if they cancel, the chances of them getting another booking are very remote. However, I have been working locally for over 12 years, so have a very established client base.

I would be reluctant to take deposits when you're starting out as it may put new or potential clients off, but if you do, I would just deduct it from treatments given.

I would think about taking a deposit for a large booking of a new client
