Hi all I just wanted to no what do you use to clean out your CND uv lamp?
I'm shellac trained and for the first time got a client that got shellac on the bulb. I was thinking ipa but is that ok? Can I use it to clean the rest of the lamp?
Look forward to hearing from you

Remove the bulb and take a small sharp knife and scrape off the hardened Shellac. IPA will not clean off cured Shellac. Best not to use any liquids to clean bulbs; doing this could remove the protective film on the bulb that filters UV rays that fall into the harmful spectrum.

Thank you geeg. What can I use to clean the rest of the lamp? I mean where the client places there hand?

IPA or Mundo disinfectant and a soft cloth is what we recommend to clean the inside of the lamp.

Excellent stuff. I'm now cleaning as we speak!

What's the best product to use cleaning all the plastic on the lamp?

Have a look on youtube at Holly's (fingernail fixer) video on it. A great help to do the lamps, from cleaning to taking it apart!
