We use barbicide but if you're in a busy salon as I am then one pair wont be enough so have 2 on the go,different colours and make sure you rotate regularly. It takes 10 mins to disinfect thoroughly or you could use wipes, which take 2 mins.I prefer the liquid though(which you add to water and have in jar, with your tweezers soaking in it)This instills confidence in your clients.
With your waxing you can use the barbicide wipes or the clean and easy head cleaner.Have a few heads and change in between each client.HTH

i use barbicide to soak in between clients and put a bit of cotton wool in the bottom of the jar to stop them blunting
as for the clean and easy heads do you leave them to soak or put it on something to clean them? As i use it to clean the case with cotton wool but end up in a sticky mess with fluff alover lmao!:(

Hi

i have the clean and easy system and this is how i clean the heads:

remove the head and roll it over a bit of couch roll (use what you just took off the bed before you bin it) to remove excess wax.

get a pot about the size of a large coffee jar with a lid and put the heads in it. pour wax equipment cleaner (cheapest you can find) over the heads.

leave to soak for a bit and then remove them and wash with antibacterial soap and hot water. Air dry on a tissue.

You obviously need several sets of heads so that you have a clean dry set to put on for the next client.

To clean the heater itself i use very very cheap fabric strips with some of the Clean and Easy "Remove" on to wipe over the outside and inside. You can then wipe over with a clean dry tissue. If you get into the habit of doing this it never gets messy.

For the heads I wouldn't use tissue or cotton wool it just ends up in one big sticky mess as you said:green:.I use a wax strip(paper)with wax remover on it then wipe off any excess wax followed by barbicide wipe or you could soak in barbicide to disinfect.HTH
