Hi there geeks , I currently use a Cnd black brush case for my acrylic brush.

Today I opened it , and was horrified to find some of the hairs of the brush were stuck to top of the case ... I can only assume from some old monomer. On removing the brush I lost some of the hairs .

Has anybody else experienced this or would I be better off with a metal case .I also sit the brush on some blu tac to keep it still.

This kind of happend to me, i now keep my gel brushes in the box with no prob and I bought one of there metal brush boxes for my L&P brushes it has holders built in so no more blu tac.....

i get lids for my brushes to protect them.....i got one at the show from young nails and i also saw them on the astonishng nails stand as well if that helps

This happened to me with my brand new Ultra Sculptor was gutted. I was told that if the hairs were bent to run hot water - not boiling (from a kettle) down the shaft of the brush to straighten the hairs. I then worked the brush into a point on some couch roll. It worked a treat. Good luck sorting out your brush.
