CND Nail Polish question

I'm obviously going to need to buy some 'decent' nail polish (as opposed to the chemist/supermarket bought stuff I have at the moment). For now this is only for me and I'll be using it on NSI Attractions kit.

I keep seeing mention of CND and I've taken a look at their site. Whats the difference between their Colours range and Shellac range? Oh and is minx like foils?

Obviously though, I can't buy from them, as I'm only doing this for myself at the minute until I sort out a course, so maybe a moot question anyway, it just seemed they were the most recommended around the forum

Might have to look at the OPI I heard mentioned too, see if I can buy that for now. I only tend to wear a few colours myself, so won't need a massive selection for now

If you are about to do a course then why dont you waite and see what they recomend ? I bought sooo muc polish before I started collage , only to later on bye loads of better stuff lol

I'm not sure if I'll be able to do a course, theres no way I could afford it, but I may qualify as a carer, still trying to find out. If I do, I'd love to do the course, if I don't, I'll just be doing the nails for me, but in the long run, I'll be doing the nails myself, when I want to do them, I can try different designs and change them when I want. Due to my nail technicians own schedule (she's part time) and my own child care probs, its hard to get to her.

I'm ordering my kit next week so thought I'd get a few bottles to tide me over, I'm a purple girl at heart sometimes red, sometimes turquoise, so won't need a lot.

I'm nervous about trying to do my own nails, but excited too. Only problem, I'm a perfectionist and I can see me chucking more in the bin than wearing lol

Ask your nail tech if she has any for retail that you can buy from her
