Hey guys,

Im very excited as my order of CND Performance tips have just arrived...

Have got someone in for a set of gel extensions tomorrow so would like any advice from you all on how best to use them. Is there anything I should know prior to using them for the first time?

I'm finding it hard to see how they wont be visible through the gel?

How far down the nail plate should I adhere each tip for best performance?

Do I apply the adhesive to the tip in the same way as would for a full well tip?

As the tips are so thin (great!) am I still ok to buff over the top to remove the shine before gel application?

Any advice would be much appriciated...

Hi

I dont use these but am going to get some. When I done my 121 training with cnd I was shown how to apply these. Really the same as velocity. Make sure the middle of the tip is stuck first and then with both thumbs pinch sides to make sure it is stuck properly. I would apply it at the end of the free edge, as you pull the tip down the nail you can normally feel where it should be stuck. Try doing this a few times before you actually apply the adhesive. These can be gentle blended so that they will bot show through the gel. You can gently buff over the tip so you can apply gel over it. You can apply gelbond to the tip or speedbond on the tip and even a little on the natural free edge.

Im not very good at explaining, so forgive me but I hope that I have helped you a little. Im gonna put my order in soon, cant wait to have hardly any blending and will save so much time. Good luck. Abi
