I wanted to add a quick thread to point this little gem out to those who weren't aware of it.
Other manufacturers may produce the same thing so it is worth asking.
CND have a little leaflet available that breaks down every one of their products, from tips to scrubfresh and l&p and tells you the following:
- How much each item costs to buy (ie for 2oz, 8oz or bigger sizes)
- How many treatments you can expect that particular size to last for
- How much each usage from that particular size pot will cost you
This means that those who have no clue about budget or those who are new to the biz, can actually tot up what the service costs them to provide in product by the sizes that they buy.
Now please bear in mind they are not exact and I actually double the recommended amounts of the spa products that are listed because I am a big believer in slathering on the creams and masks to make it a luxurious experience.
Even bearing this in mind one of the handy things that you can get from it is to see how much things cost you when you buy smaller versus larger sizes.
A tool like this also lets you see just how profitable your nail services can be and how little good quality product actually costs.
So maybe pick one up from the CND store or ask them to post one to you as its a handy little thing to look at.
For non CND users you can always ask your supplier if they have something similar or you can ask them how many uses they believe you get from each pot (they may exagerate a little) and do the maths yourself
Just a thought for those starting out in the budgeting process. As tesco say, every little helps.
