CND UV lamp getting hot

Hi , don't know if anyone can offer any advice. My cnd lamp felt really hot tonight when I did a shellac on myself.. felt a bit like it was burning. Never noticed this before. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Yes my old one got like that just before the motor got stuck and it started powering up like it was going to take off and smelt terrible.

S2 sent me a replacement

Hope that's not going to happen to yours but just be vigilant x
