I absolutely love doing nails ,but when I want to do a colored french then I have to hurry 'cause the gel floods so fast that it's difficult to get a crisp smile line and believe me I'm a perfectionist. If I don't like the result I'll just take it all off again .
Does anybody else have this problem?
I work with ibd's little colorgels sweet confection and tropical,I only have 12 colors 'cause I'm hesitent about buying extra ones ,because off these problems.
Also I have to put about 2 to 3 layers as it doesn't cover ,so making a flower is totally out of the question,as you can hardly see the spots of colorgel on your nail
thx

Hi...when I do my french with gel I need my line to be crisp also...after 1 or 2 smile lines are done put the fingers in the light. sometimes I have the client bent the fingers down so if by chance the gel still moves ...but it wontit would run down the free edge and not up the nailbed. I leave the finger in the light for maybe 20 sec. and do a finger on the other hand while im waiting and work back and forth between the hands and when I have 1 hand finnishedI cure it for the full time. Works great for me. I hope this helps..

thnx for your reply
That's what I do aswell, but like I said it floods fast onto the rest of the nailplate

Are you wiping the inhibition layer before doing your white?

well with "normal french" I don't have problems only with colored french using gel polish from ibd, that layer is that after you've cured bonder,I think that it might just work,I'm going to give that a go
thx
