Hi all
I have a client who is the base of a 6 naturally and she has natural roots, a panel of red on mid lengths and quite light ends. Her goal is to. Go really light on the ends and go for a balayage she doesn’t mind going darker on roots. I’m not too sure how to go about it. I’m guessing a flat base ash colour on the red? Any suggestions would be welcome xx

Are you removing the red or colouring over it with a darker colour?

Think about the colour star, what colour is opposite red and thus can neutralise it?

Make sure that your client understands that even if you cover over it, it will fade after a few washes and the red will show through.
