Hi everyone,

I tained in acylic & UV gel last year and I am mainly using acrylic, but am wanting to try using some different gel products can anyone recommend some to me, mainly coloured gel please.

Also one of my clients who has acrylic's on her thumb nails lift really badly, she is a hairdresser so was thinking of trying gel????:(

Any advice would be good.

Cheers

In just a few short weeks (May 1and 2), CND will be launching a new product called SHELLAC. Do a quick search and read all about it ... it will be worth the wait.

I cant wait to try Shellac it sounds great....in the meantime though i have been using for the last few years and very happy with Akzentz gels for my enhancements and NNO's....and Light Elegance for colour gels...both are buff off gels...I ain't keen on soak off's just because i find it quicker to buff off the top layers and re-apply rather than having to start over each time...I also prefer the strength of a buff off gel.

cheers I'll look into those.

So with the colour gels is it just a thin layer you apply, then if your client wants to change colour next time you just buff off the layer or colour and apply new colour???????

CND Shellac soaks off in minutes and is a hybrid gel-polish.

Other gels need to be buffed off. (UGH!!!) Hate that job .. so glad I won't have to do it any longer.

Bio Sculpture has stunning gel colours and it's a soak off. Calgel has has gel colours, but I'm really keen on the Bio colour range.

If you want a buff-off gel, or use L&P, Bio Colours are compatible. Right now I'm wearing L&P and I have a Bio colour on top and it's wonderful. All my clients LOVE the Bio colour range.
