Colouring Hair in Pregnancy

hey geeks,
wondering if you can help at all. I'm a nail geek not a hair geek but a friend has asked me to check something out for her.
She has just found out she is 8/9 weeks pregnant, she has her hair coloured and thinks its maybe indola colour, she goes blonde and has it done every 4 weeks. Naturally she is brunette and doesn't know whether she can have it coloured or should go back to brunette?
any advice would be great thanks

Ps, personally I think she would be better swapping over to highlights rather than going darker as darker colours
have more concentrated chemical pigments in them , and as she is only early in her pregnancy I would say that darker on the scalp colour would best be avoided

using blonde colours during pregnancy is fine. the worst thats ever happened is that bleach highlights havent lifted so well.
