Concerned about hard wax side effects........

I've had my bikini area waxed before using strips one time and then hard wax the next. My husband had his armpits waxed with hard wax also and both of us experienced bumps after two weeks. What is up with that?:cry: Instead of the bumps coming out the next day, they came out a week or two later. Please advise.

Can't say I've ever had a client (or myself for that matter) come out in "bumps" so long after a hard wax treatment.

When I did the hot wax on myself when living in Florida I had the same problem. We did *not* have a water softener and I was swimming alot so the bumps were my skin telling me it needed attention.

On my brows, I stopped using the aftercare oil in the package and used solar oil....boom no bumps.

On my legs, I used a spritz of lavender essential oil in purified water, RIGHT AFTER and then that night, solar butter.

I surmise that my skin was drier than a fart cos once I did the moisturising routine, the bumps went away.
