Confused - IHBC course clarification

Hello I wonder if someone can help me... I did a Beauty Specialist course many years ago and passed, this was a IHBC course, I have been doing treatments since on friends and family and I am now wanting to broaden my scope and start myself up in business.
The course I did was manicure, pedicure, facials, eyelash/ eyebrow tints, waxing. On my certificate it states Beauty Specialits diploma, is this level 2 in Beauty?
Can anyone tell me or tell me where I can find out this information?

it's has the same subjects that I've just covered on my NVQ 2 ( It also covered reception, salon management and make-up too) . Does that help? x

I would get in touch with VTCT or ITEC and ask them, also try asking an insurance provider such as BABTAC or The Guild. It might be that it is recognised still as an equivalent to VTCT level 2, or if not then perhaps you can Rpl to the equivalent. For IHBC you sat an exam right?

Definitely pursue it with VTCT then and the insurance companies x
