Do I have to get my NVQ 1 before I can start work as a paid apprentice in a salon or can I start from scratch within a salon providing they are willing to take me on?? Just weighing up my options.... thanks for all your support and advice! SO helpful!!!

As far as I know you can go straight into an apprenticeship and start from scrastch. Maby you should go and have a chat with your local college because you would have to be there as well even if it is only one day a week xx
