Hiya Geeks, just looking around for a couch....as light as I can without breaking the bank!
I've seen one that's 14.5kg, how practical is this in terms of portability? I one of the small ikea trolleys I can use to sit it on when necessary.

thanks geeks, xx

To be honest Lou I have always found 'light' to still be bloody heavy lol !!! I think when I was looking you can get them down to about 10.5 kg

Dont just check out the lightness of the table please also make sure that you check the 'weight of a person' the table will hold ! No point having a very light table if its not going to handle the weight of your clients and collapses on you !

Also see how easy it is to adjust in terms of height for your self and how 'easy' it is to actually open and close. I found the tables with the little cables an abosolute nightmare !

Good Luck xx

Thanks Sue,

The one I'm looking at takes up to 37 stone, it looks as though the height adjusts using some pegs......it's a feel good couch, has the adjustable back....the lighter ones I've found are either too expensive for me just now, or don't have an adjustable back......it's on ebay sold by massagetablestore-uk they've got 100% feedback.

Had a look, they look nice, like the colours lol !!! I think Jenx got one like it ! My only concern would be the tensile cables, it could be tricky to get up and down.

Hiya

I recently bought a couch from Feelgood on ebay, £85 free p &p, 10 kg. My last couch was 15 kg and although is was lovely for my clients, it killed my back. The 10kg couch is so much lighter, and has a working weight of about 500 lbs. It also has side arm rests that make it feel wider than it is. hth :green:

The one you are looking at looks lovely - very similar to mine, but almost 5kg lighter.
I found mine really easy to put up, but I have never put it back down again as I don't really go mobile. Price is good too, less than £10 more than mine was so fab for such a lightweight one.

Don't know anything about the seller, but The item looks great.
Mine is really steady and sturdy as well, so no wobbles.

Good luck xx

10.x Kilos sounds wonderful - that's just 5 big bags of sugar!

It's on my shopping list!
