Cracked toe nail

Hey,
Iv just done a pedi on a regular client. Last time I did her she had a very badly bruised big toe nail, she came in today and it now has a crack about a third up from the cuticle which goes across half the nail.
I painted it and looks better but she's in again for shellac pedi in 3 weeks for her holiday.

I'm just wondering what your suggestions are if a. The nail comes off or b. the crack is still there what would hold it?

Iv been told to put a tip on or sculpt it with acrylic.
Would brisa lite do the trick?

The severity of the crack might be such that theres not a lot you can do for it...that is to say that if product overexposure is going to happen then i wouldnt want to put anything other than polish on it.

For a smaller crack, id use jessica lifejacket or fibreglass and resin under the polish. Otherwise id leave it.

Youll probably get different replies but thats what id do.
