Have you got a nail trainer? Or friends/family that u can practice on and get feedback from (ie. How long they last, if any lift up)?
I always start with the tip when applying acrylic & work my way up to the cuticle. And then apply very little, adding more after if I need to! I use the tip of my brush to run around the cuticle to ensure there is no acrylic touching the skin! Xx
I think the number one tip is actually tilting the nail compleley down and apply a dryer bead to you feel you can get control, place in the middle and work to one side and feather up, then quickly to the other side and feather up, if you do manage to get it on the cuticle don't be afraid to go in with your brush while it's still wet to tidy up x
