dark brown hair too dark blonde?

Hi guys, I have naturally dark brown hair but have also dyed it different colours over many years. I would like to go blonde but have been told by my hairdresser its a no go. Is there a way I could gradually go lighter without my hair being in terrible condition and without going through the orangey stage. Even light brown-dark blonde would do xx

Best thing to do is get your hairdresser to take some test cuttings-you'll then know if it's possible and what stages your hair's going to be in the process.
Without knowing the condition of your hair and your colour history and whether it was professional or home colour etc I can't really help much more x
