Dark red to brown?

Hi, I was wondering if I could get some help. I have been dying my hair a darker shade of red, like a burgundy color, for a couple of years now and was wondering what is the best way to do it. I want to go a chocolate brown but I don't want to do bleach. Any advice would help. Please and thank you.

Go to the salon and ask for a colour correction. Make sure they do some strand tests first because if you've been using box dyes, they can react to the chemicals used in professional colouring products.
