Hi guys
Been in the Beauty Industry a few years now and am just completing my Artificial Nail course. Training with NSI in Acrylic and Fibreglass.
My question is I bought a small kit which included a 6 watt tube UV lamp from the Daylight Company. I use a uv to cure the gel top coat. Is this wattage high enough to dry the gel top coat or do I need to purchase a better one
Thanks peeps

Hello
I bought a few u v lamps because I was trying to save money.
Sadly none of them worked properly.
I think the best on the market is the CND Brisa lamp.
It is quite reasonable now(the price came down) about £100.00.
If you have that you will be sorted.
go to Sweet Squared to purchase
Hope this helps

Are you using NSI finishing gel? If so, I would use the lamp that they recommend you use to cure it.

The Brisa lamp may well over cure it and cause premature ageing of your product as it is specifically designed to cure Brisa gels.
