Hi , Ive reached my goal of loosing a stone now in weight..yee haa! Before I go on holiday very soon ,Im thinking of a dettox .

Just wanted to see if any other geeks on here have done one, what one you recommend and how did you get on.

Many thanks. :)

Congratulations on the weight loss!
To be honest, unless you have renal impairment you really don't need to do any kind of "detox"; your kidneys will do all the detoxification your body needs. What were you hoping to achieve?

a one day detox is great and doesn't cost anything.

Drink plenty of water.
Only eat green salad, a little brown rice and rice cakes.
A dash of soy and vinegar can be used for flavour.

Treat yourself to a all over body exfoliation or a body wrap.

I was given a packet of "natural" detox tablets a few months ago, they claimed to get rid of intestinal worms :)eek:) make you, errr, poop a lot and shed 1/2 a stone.....I gave it a go and I have to say I wasnt keen on taking 6 tablets 3 times a day, they left a horrid taste in my mouth and after 5 days I had to stop ....cos I was so constipated I was feeling ill!! Lol

Anyway the moral of that story is that personally I dont think these herbal detox tablets do much.....eating less and moving more is the way forward!! (its just sooooo hard) but well done on your weight loss so far!!

Mmm, maybe to just loose a few more pounds before I go on holiday as time is running out, but I wanted to do it in a healthy way .:)
