I had a lady ring today who wants EE who has diabetes. As far as I was concerned it wasnt a contraindication however someone I know said it was so now Im questioning myself

is diabetes a contraindication to eyelash extensions?

I wouldn't think so, why would diabetes effect the lashes, did she say why?

I'm diabetic, a nail tech & have had my EE since July last year & love them! Cannot imagine how they wouldn't be suitable?! :)

It wasn't on the list when I was trained...and my trainer was very thorough!

Hi it is fine to do the eyelash extensions unless she has diabetic retinopathy. This is a problem with the eyes and is a contraindication that restricts treatment. Hope that helps :)

Why is diabetic retinopathy a contra indication? I have a client wanting them doin with this condition. I'm going to request info of docs to be on safe side. I'm aware it is a contra indication. But why when it's behind the eyeball?

Why is it a contraindication I have looked it up but can't find anything
