CND Shellac is not a gel so why would you use a gel thinner?
Just make sure you shake it very well before each application (even harder before your very first one of the bottle) and you will be fine. I wouldn't turn it upside down to do that, as I've seen a lot of people doing it this way, because then all your product gets in the cap and floods the whole world when you open the bottle!

I sat on it and voila! 
very happy! Doesn't look like ill need to get a new one after all. Sat on it throughout removal and shellac application and when it came to the topcoat it wasn't gloppy anymore! Woop woop lol thanks for all your tips and tricks! X
