I'm not particularly confident with direct dyes. I never seen to get the results I want.
Tomorrow I have a client on with an extremely faded purple ombre coming in. Her ombre however is very warm and needs lifting a lot more to achieve that pop of colour she wants.
Do I go in with a clear and 20 to remove any remaining direct dye or can I go straight in with my lighening powder and start lifting to the right level? Most of the direct dye has faded I'm just worried about going in with bleach and strange things happening.
Please feel free to throw some tips my way in how to get over my anxiety with direct dyes. Thanks
