Just wanted to run this by other MUAs that do wedding fairs.

Do you thing I would be a good idea to offer trials at the wedding fair?

Either full price or discounted?

I'am doing a local wedding fair and I just wanted to give myself an opportunity to do makeup without giving it away free.

I think it would be a good idea also to bring two or three models to do demos on. Not everyone will be willing to pay for a trial so at least you're not standing around doing nothing if you're in between trials while people are walking past and they still get to see your work in action.

I have had models before and it didn't work well, as she got board and started to play up (fussy about what makeup she was having and it really embarrassed me) and was board.

So most of my time was spent trying placate her rather plug my business

And to top it all she stole some of my curling irons.

I am running airbrush taster sessions, glitter tattoos with hen parties and bridal themes as well.
