Dispensary usage standards chart

Hey! Does anyone out there have a good system for setting dispensary usage standards? The salon I work for is trying to come up with standard mixing formulas to help with consistency from service to service, and pricing consistency. We current charge a base price for color services with add-on prices for additional bowls, etc. We are looking to setup a chart that will provide at a glance info for stylists so that they can easily see the max grams included in the base pricing so it is clear when they need to charge extra.

Any ideas people out there have would be greatly appreciated!

The only system I've seen used is to measure out the product using the different size scoops (like you have for cooking).
Fill the scoop with product, then level it with a flat knife to give a precise amount (just like when you are mixing baby milk powder!)

I suppose you can use scales but would staff actually do it?
