Does the squoval shape have parallel sidewalls or slightly tapered?

Hello,I have seen different diagrams for a squoval shape nail, one book said parallel sidewalls with rounded tip (i thought this was a rounded square or is that the same as squoval!), the other book said the side of the nails are slightly tapered in with a rounded edge. Or does it matter! Anyone help as i am a perfectionist and need to get it right.

My squovals have straight side walls and rounded edges and straight tops.
