Does .co.uk or .info or .xxx
Really make a difference

Any advice appreciated

Here's a bit of info that might help.

Domain Name FAQs | Webfooted Designs, St Just, Penzance, Cornwall

I'd really strongly recommend you steer clear of a .xxx domain name, unless you're ready for lots of dodgy calls! :)

If you can't get your name, you can add the name of the town after it, or call it something completely different to your business. The easier the www . domainname . co . uk is the better your customers will find you.

I'm not sure it makes much difference what your business is called to the domain name, these days, although it's always good to try and get them to match! As long as you advertise what your website is called and that it's associated with your business.

Definately get a co.uk even if it means not having your exact business name.

Anywhere from £2.40 per year upto an one-off fee of £1000s plus standard renewal price of pennies per year - depends if the name you want is available, or if you need to buy from a seller
