Ive never heard of it hun, what a shame, is it affecting you much? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Hun

I used to work for an Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon and he used to do loads of operations on people with Dupuytren's disease.

It is basically a thickening of the tissue in the palm of the hand which eventually, if left untreated, can caused the finger to literally curl into the palm.

You need to see someone who specialises in this type of surgery, and it is certainly in your interest to get it treated sooner rather than later, as surgery on a relatively minor Dupuytren's is far less complicated that when it is allowed to deteriorate.

Saying that, I have seen some excellent results from the surgery, and it is normally very successful.

HTH's.:) Good luck.
