I am thinking of getting an E file - but they are sooooo expensive! This might be a silly question, but I have seen loads on Ebay. Why are they so much cheaper, is it the speed of the file, difficulty of using?
Advice would be appreciated! x :!:

Cheapest will always cost you the dearest.

Products and equipment cost a certain price for a reason if you find a much cheaper price than it is likely that is of inferior quality

All I can say is DON'T.

I have had the "pleasure" to compare an ebay file to a proffessional one. And the difference is HUGE.
The ebay one was shaking, therefor breaking down the acrylic nail, it felt so bad when filing, not only for the hand holding it, but for the nail being filed as well.
It was noisy etc. and if it was to breake how would you get it repaired?

I would by an e-file with a trusted company who offers training aswell, as this is a tool that in the wrong hands can do so much damage.

ps. this ebay file looked like the pro one, you couldn't see the difference, bot boy did you feel it!

I haven't seen them, but you pay for what you get ? cheap equals cheap!! the majority of the time, plus I doubt that they come with any warranty, whos to say they wont close their account, where do you stand then ?
Maybe some other geeks could recommend where to get decent e-files

Because most of them are cheap nasty imports where they have no regulations to stick to so can sell any thing no matter how rubbish and dangerous it is,
do you think your insurance would cover you to use an electrical item on the paying public that is not CE approved etc etc, hth
