I'm expanding my beauty salon to a bigger building & i'm looking for people to work for me as well. I'm just wondering how do I go by doing this? also who do i need to notify etc to do it all legally? xxxx

First of all, congratulations!
You need to register as an employer with HMRC.
In terms of how to do it, you'll need to;
Think about what sort of person you want.
Write job description/ person specs
Work out terms of employment (contract) - thinking about salary, working hours, probationary period, commission scheme etc
Write policies & procedures / staff handbook
Advertise
Interview / trade test
Take up references
Inform insurance company / change schedule
If you have 5 or over staff you have to offer a company pension
