Enquiring about possible home salon

Hello my lovelies. I need some advice and guidance please. I've been a Mobile Nail Technician since October last year but I am getting really tired of having to drag all my gear in my car and into clients houses. Anyways I've just bought a house and I've got a spare bedroom and I was thinking I could convert it into a mini heaven nail salon . Are there any requirements I should Have? Do I need to have an inspection from the council or do I need any extra permits? Can you help me please? Thank so much in advance x

Sorry to jump on but what council department would I need to speak to? I called mine but no one seemed to know who I should speak to.
