I have just taken on the Environ range and am struggling to promote the facials. I don't have the machine and to be honest I think the problem is I'm not convinced in myself as to whether the manual facial's are nearly as effective as the machine facial's?

How many facial's should I advise a client to have in order to gain benefits, in particular for oily/congested skin?

Also which type of facial massage do you use in order to ensure maximum penetration/absorption of the product, ie relaxing, invigorating, etc?

Any advice would be great!

I don't use Environ, so can't comment on that, but I offer both manual facials (Decleor) & electric facials (CACI Ultra), and personally see value in both. From a purely massage perspective, massage helps to increase fibroblastic activity & promote increase in lymph/blood circulation, which has a very positive & defininte effect on the skin. Furthermore, products formulated with active ingredients are more than capable of producing effects on the skin. If you're not sure, give a friend/relative a complete course of facials & see the difference for yourself.

I think the answer lies somewhat is your statement....if you are not convinced....neither will your clientele be...believing in what you do is very important, and it will show to your clientele if you are.

Coming back to what you asked,if a client needed maximum results a course of six treatments, one per week followed by home care will achieve results beyond expectations:green:

There is nothing more satisfying of seeing results from active based products and the power of a therapists hands:!:

If you have just invested in a facial range whereby, you are not convinced, then may I ask why you took on the facial range in the first place?

I agree with Beautyguru, that if you are not convinced, then neither will your clients be as you won't be able to sell the product to them witn conviction:confused: and passion!

I have recently taken the Environ training, and it blew me away - fantastic! Yes, it is true using the Environ machine you can increase penetration of the vits etc., by 4000%, but by using a simple galvanic you can increase by 400%.

Althought the Galvanic current in the Environ Ionzyme Machine is pulsed and the sonophorosis current is so low - I am hopeful that using a standard ultrasound followed by standard Galvanic I will be able to get results much better than 400%. I need some ultrasound training, anyone have any ideas?

I will add, I have always been a strictly hands on therapist, not convinced about electrics etc and even products. I still strongly believe there is nothing like the touch of another persons hands. In the past I have worked with Algologie (great products), so journeying into Environ is a big change for me. I was hooked within 10 mins, the thing which really drew me in was the way in which Environ was concieved. Dr Fernandes original cream (Debut) and Sun protection (RAD) came from his studies of the skin and preventing skin cancer. The concept of repairing the cell DNA in the basal layer and the use of active ingredients which are already pre existing in the skin already seemed so logical and exciting to me.

I am 47 and would have prefered to go on to CQ1, but I could not afford it at the moment opting for entry level Debut, Rad and CQ eye cream. I have used it for 9 days and already have received several compliements on my skin. Even my teenage son has commented and he usually only manages a grunt before asking for money!

Get back onto the Rep and ask her to come and see you again, I am sure they will give you some help. Also get your college notes out and have a read through your notes, you sound like you are worried about your facial treatments, not just Environ. I used to feel the same about facials, as I have specialised in body work. Eventually I started doing more facial work and really enjoy it - it's so relaxing. Good luck

The Environ Ionzyme DF Machine - It simply offers the best facial treatment with quaranteed results. Up to 4400 % increased infusion. Standard galvanic only increases absorption by 40% and even then only on the area that the rollers make contact with the skin. It takes 10min+ for the ionizable molecules to become agitated and only then begin to penetrate so you are ltd to the area of the face you can work on in 20 min whereas pulsed ionto covers the entire face/neck.
As a matter of interest what are the DF Machines selling for in the UK? When I left SA 31/2 years ago the price was R27000 and I have just purchsed it here in NZ for $10000.00
Thanks

Hi there,
I have been an Environ user (personal and professional) for 7 years now. Environ exclusive, as for me there is no other product like it and the results speak for themselves. My 5 year old is on the Mens Range and I started him on Debut at 3 months old.
I have ONLY just purchased the DF Machine so for 7 years I offered salon treatments i.e. facials using Environ products. Every single client I have has changed to Environ BECAUSE it works and my product knowledge and BELIEF in the product is my biggest asset.
With ongoing product training (a MUST) you become more and more confident in what you are talking about and sharing your knowledge with your clients.
Training with Environ will show you that you START with the massage of the face FIRST. It is incorporated using the Interactive Range (cleansing stage), followed by exfoliation - the Alpha Range, adding steam if necessary and even the peel systems with oily skins or hyperkeritinised skins (congestion). This prepares the skin to receive the all important Vitamins in the infusion stage and that's what it's all about - preparing the skin to receive. End off with the mask - which occludes all the hard work you've just done. That's it.
Remember that if you massage the face half way through the treatment using say the essentia oil or any other massage oil then forget about getting any product to penetrate that barrier! Finishing off with a massage - you quite literally assist in removing the vitamins you have just infused into the skin. You want the vitamins to stay in the skin for as long as possible.

With Environ, homecare protocols are possibly more important than monthly salon treatments as the client wants to "feed her face" twice a day with vit. a,c,e remembering that it takes 3 hours for vit. A levels to be "topped up". Your salon modalities will be more powerful of course as the salon serums are stronger and your whole treatment is obviously one of pampering. If your client will buy into a weekly facial .....FANTASTIC.... even without the DF machine - Environ WILL show results. Here in NZ we are encouraged to do before and after photographs - what about in Scotland?

Hope this helps?

Cheers the nooo

Hi there - you have mentioned that you have used Environ for 7 years. I have been using Environ personally for 1 year now. I love the results. I have now opened my own place and have taken on Environ for my professional range. I haven't yet bought the machine - I intend doing so in the near future, but first I'd like to build up my clientele.

With regards to the manual facial - did you use different intensity serums according to clients' needs and progression of professional treatments, as you would do with the machine? As I was told that with the manual facial I should just stick to the AVST Treatment Gel, as it would be a waste to use anything else as it won't penetrate without the machine?!

I totally agree with you that the most important part is the homecare, as one needs to feed one's skin regularly to achieve results. However, I also agree that facials are essential as they give you more intense penetration of vitamins, while anti-stress treatment at the same time. The only thing is that now with just using the Treatment Gel, I'm finding the facials boring and too standard - and I can't give clients more or a different treatment as they progress with their facials. It's not 'I'm going to use a different serum on you today, which will help to....' or 'Today I will target your ...., and I will be using this ... to achieve this, and you can help with adding this product to your homecare routine' or 'Today I used this ...., and next time we can introduce this product ...'. So as such the clients have no incentive to come for regular facials?!

What is your opinion from your experience? Many thanks.
