hi girls,
What do you think about environ skin care, is it ok to use normal galvanic machine with it? does it sell well? Are you happy with the results?
will be greatfull for any help:hug:

I'm currently looking at Environ as a skincare range. I have a meeting with them next week in fact.

In my opinion, I think Environ is a fab skin range, no doubt about it! However, I opted not to go with Environ as it is a progressive skin care range and I was looking for a range with more immediate results, but this was my own personal choice.

I know an Environ beauty therapist not far from me and she has really struggled to retail her range. She is sitting with stock which she can't shift. I'm not saying this an a negative for Environ, I am just sharing this info to help answer your queries.

She also purchased the Environ electrical machine which I know cost a small fortune £4000 to £5000 if not mistaken. This was another reason I opted for a different skin care range as I could not afford this.

Martigirl is an Environ geek and loves the range and has had great results with it. Hopefully she can offer her words of wisdom.

Environ - yes its excellent but as mentioned the results take a while to be achieved when theres much better things to use for results.

For example a client would need a facial with their ultrasound and galvanic machine twice a week for 4 weeks then one a week for 4 weeks then start spreading them out at a cost of about £50 a treatment, its not really appealing to clients.

If you can just recommend the creams them I would say use it as a back up to other treatments or products you offer.

The needling treatment is fantastic if used with high powered Leds.

Used in conjunction with skin resurfacing such as Laser or Micro D then the results are fantastic. As a stand alone facial range I would say its still excellent but the results take longer to achieve.

For sundamaged skin though its brill and I recommend anyone to use their SPF cream.

Hope this helps

thanks a lot guys,
i think i have to think about it a bit more. I thought the results were visible from the first treatment, that is what I'm looking for. because it's so hard to convince a client to go for a course of facials if they can't see an instant result.
I'm looking for a skin care where they'd see a differents right away.
Does anyone know any?any advice?
thanks for your comments it's very helpful

I gave long consideration to my chosen product range, which is Germaine De Capuccini. I have just completed my training with them. For months I investigated several product houses and my final 2 were Germaine and Environ. However there was always something which kept drawing me back to Germaine.

I had a facial when I went to visit the UK distributors and really saw the results with just one facial plus the entire treatment was just heavenly. Theresa (aka oey) has been using Germain for a couple of years. I'm sure she won't mind if you want to pm her.

Hereis the link for Totally UK Ltd if you would like to make enquiries.

I was going to go for nimue but i think it's a bit too expensive. Do you like nimue? does it give good results? Are the distributors not good? Can I ask you why?

Nimue is similar to MD Formulations, which are completly different to Environ.

Nimue and MD use glycolic acid to dry up dead skin cells so they pop off the skin and re-surface it. The process helps to kick start the dermal layer and help to increase collagen and elastin production. You see results a lot quicker with this range(s).

Environ is based on retinols/Vitamins A. Vit A is acidic but works inside out where as MD and Nimue work outside in so to speak. The Vit A heals the skin internally to basicaly maintain and heal the damage. Results take longer to see with this.

I personally prefer MD Formulations and Danne M King to repair damage and then move clients on to Environ to maintain the results.

Environ is excellent to recommend to clients with sundamage or as a maintenance skincare range that will prevent damage.

If your clients want fast solutions to skin problems then I recommend peels as they have an instant effect on the skin that makes clients feel like they have got value for money.

I am trained in Environ, MD Formulations and Danne. I do not stock Environ as I did not like the facials. I do work with an Environ salon and we send clients to each other.

I personally feel MD is too strong to use constantly. And there are a lot of clients that can use a skincare range that has slower results as they will not benefit too much from more aggressive facials or they may be young with a need for a good skincare regime that lasts them.

I would look at what your clients need. If your clients don't buy into the whole skincare regime scheme then buy a nice skincare range that is going to make your clients feel good and give their skin a healthy glow. If they do want to change their skin then you can make them buy into a routine that will save them from going under the knife in years to come.

Thanks a lot for that
It's a vary helpful advice. I'd love to go for nimeu but everyone says how bad the back up is, so I don't think I'll for it. I like the concept of environ, the only thing I'm concerned about is that my clients won't like the facial. I think I should have a few facials with it and then see for my self.
Would you see any result after environ facial at all like glowing, any results with acne?
cheers:hug:

Any facial will make you 'glow' as the exfoliation and massage cause an increase of blood to the surface of the skin.

You will see results with Environ, but with any skincare range or treatment the client will not see the real results until 28 days after as the skin takes that long to renew.

MD Formulations and Danne are great because clients say you can feel it working and as it strips back dead layers or with danne tighten the skin then they do see an instant result.

Environ really needs the machine to enable you do offer facials that are result driven. I feel personally (and this was another reason I didnt go with them) that the facial you do without the machine is just the same as your client using the products on themselves at home.

The training is excellent with Environ though and I believe so is the back up and support.

Thanks a mil.
I've heard about MD Formulations before. I'm based in Dublin i wonder they have distributor in here. Does anyone know MD Formulations wed site? Is it suitable for sensitive skins. I’d love to get something effective but at the same time not too aggressive, because most of my clients have delicate skins.
Will be thankful for any comment,
Cheers

We have used Environ for nearly 2 years with DF Machine. The results are excellent and we retail the products very well. I would say though only go for Environ if you can afford the machine. It will give WOW results.

I too use environ and have had fab results with clients on the homecare, I dont have the machine (its too much just now, but the rep said that I should get a galvanic machine for now) but regularly go for facials with it. I am an acne sufferer and since I have been on environ have had non stop comments on my skin. I love it and retail more than any other skin care range I have had in before.

I had two facials with environ so far. I liked it a lot, my skin feels much softer. I'm meeting environ rep tomorrow, looking forward to it.:)
