I have been an esthetician (beauty therapist) for over 10 years and have only worked on natural nails. Now I have decided to take a nail tech course and I'm very nervous!! I had limited training in nail tips while in beauty school and have avoided them ever since as I have worked in spas that do not provide the service. I love manicures and pedicures and feel becoming a nail tech is the right choice for me at this point. Is there anyone that had no experience in nails and took the course? Were you intimidated? Were you perfect at it right from the start?
Thanks for any advice

Nobody is great at it right away. Everyone has to work at becoming skilled. Don't frett about the course and look forward to learning. You already have a good knowledge of the natural nail and have a passion for nails so that gives you a head start.

Good luck and keep us posted xxx:hug:

I had no experience at all when I started my course, but was taught all I needed as part of the course.
Any experience you already have with natural nail care can only be to you advantage - good luck xxx
