Next weekend, Professional Beauty lands at London's ExCeL and, this year they've got something else up their sleeve. Major tanning brands, beauty students, professionals and a large dose of volunteers will attempt to set the official Guinness World Record for most spray tans simulTANeously in one single location...that's no less than 300 spray tans in one go. If you haven't already registered then do it now (there are still some places), because this is going to be a good one.
The official attempt is in support of Professional Beauty's chosen charity, Wellbeing of Women. The charity was founded in 1964 in an effort to support and enable major breakthroughs in both obstetrics and gynaecology. The organisation is wholly dedicated to improving the health of women and babies across the UK and continues to invest in special research projects and allocate funds towards training specialist doctors and midwives.
This has never before been attempted and Guinness World Records will be sending an official adjudicator to verify the attempt. If you fancy getting your tan on and becoming part of a Guinness World Record then there are still places available. Alternatively, go and support; seeing 300 men and bikini-clad women in one place will definitely be a sight to behold.
