Well to be honest ALL lash adhesives AND medical adhesives have acrylic properties in there. The adhesive agent itself is called CYANOACRYLATE, look it up on wikipedia. Superglue has cyanoacrylate inside too but VERY HIGH % whereas eyelash adhesive has VERY VERY LOW % because it is medical grade. Surgeons use very low cyanoacrylate % adhesives by the way! The more cyanoacrylate there is in the glue the STRONGER the bond and potentially better retention (although this depends on other stuff too). If you are looking for an adhesive without cyanoacrylate, there are adhesives that are based on formaldehyde but really you should NEVER EVER USE FORMALDEHYDE glue ON CLIENTS, NEAR EYES OR ON SKIN OR ANYWHERE NEAR LIVING ORGANISMS. It is used to glue wood, flooring, carpets and all sorts of industrial stuff.
