Decided to have my eyebrows permed yesterday. Never had them done before so thought i would give it a try.
I don't like them
They looked ok when i had them done but when i put my mascara on today i didn't like them.
They are more bent than curved and the ends are sort of kinking.
Is there anything i can do?
Can i have them permed straight again or would this make them fall out.
How long will it take for them to grow out?
Can i have individual lashes put on or will this make them look funny?
Help!!!!!!

My advice would be to puts lots of vasaline on them. Use an old clean mascara brush and coat the lashes in vasaline before you go to bed, again in the morning. This should help straighten them out.

If after this they are still the same, you can go back and have them permed again using a larger roller. It sounds as though the roller was too small for your eyelashes.

hth.

Lash perming can be a nightmare. I have had mine done kinky before and it has really put me off having them done again. I think what often happens is, the tech just lifts the lashes up onto the roller but doesn't bother to straighten them or spread them out.

This has definitely been discussed before and I'm sure there were suggestions put forward re perming them straight again. I think this happened to someone and they permed them straight a day or two later. I will see if I can find it for you!

Found it! Have a look at this - I haven't re-read it but I think it might help-

I see so many badly permed lashes! Invariably it's because of poor technique and/or too small a rod. It's not a treatment that can be rushed, and it takes patience and attention to detail in getting the rod positioned correctly followed by the lashes placed correctly on the rod.
If you're going to re-perm them make sure you buy some of the collagen lotion and apply it regularly to condition your lashes.
Good luck!

Also check out these guys Home - iappeal.
My therapists use these with fantastic results, and an added bonus is that as long as you have done an approved eyelash perming course, you don't need extra training. You get much, much better results than with the little rollers which curl the lash rather than lifting and shaping as with the silicone pads.
I am sure they have been mentioned on here before a while back.
