please help!!!
My boyfriend owns barbers and tanning shop. I'd like to rent the room and introduce my own treatments. I have not so much experience in beuty industry but i have cash to buy a good machine ( up to 10 000- 20 000£) to do treatments e.g wrinkle reduction, celulite treatmentse, weight lose etc. I would like to find opinion from you guys (profesionals) which machines bring good results and stays long. I would like to bring the best for my future costomers. I was almost to buy for 1800£ spary tunning machine from Ergoline but didnt like the result in the end. I dont want dissapoint people offering avarage result. I want offer the best.
Please advice,
Many thanks.
p.s Where can i get tarining if I have to.

People are usually trained to NVQ3 standard to get insurance to use these machines,
some companies that sell them will train you but you need to make sure you will be able to get insurance too for public liability,
if you want to train to do spray tanning you can get more info from
www.wowproducts.co.uk
or you can send me a PM with any questions hth

Good on you renacik, but as loubylou said, before me, it is preferred in the beauty industry if you have a level 3 before you start offfering the treatments you have mentioned. I had a quick peak at your personal profile, it doesn't say what you have trained in. Have you already trained in a leve 2 beauty qualification, or are you starting out?

Hi renicik,
I am a little bit confused, because I am not sure whether you want the electrical machine for electrical facials

there are a number of machines to choose regarding facial\body treatments some are a combination of 2 in 1 & others are small units big enough for smaller salons ...but ...there is a question to ask.. i had a nosey at your profile and you don't seem to mention what level you are qualified in >?.. you have to be qualified to level 3 standard to use machines such as microcurrent\faradic\galavanic\iontrophesis\dermabrasion & public liabilty insurance is an absolute must also the suppliers of these machines won't let you purchase if you haven't got the certs to use them ..it's best to get at least some form of training to operate these machines first before you buy & if there is going to be a call\demand for the services you are offering...for tanning there are some fellow geeks on the site that do tantrick training if you do a search on the site you'll be able to find the trainer closer to your area...hth

Janey K spot on that is what I was trying to get across that a lot of studying has to be taken on before embarking on these type of treatments.

that's a shame hun as it would have attracted alot of interest as they are popular treatments.. but you must get training in beauty therapy hun or some form of training before you use any type of machines in the trade...an NVQ level 3 or equivilent qualification from BABTAC ,IHBC or BTEC is what you need maybe have a look at some private training courses or check in at your local college they will help you choose which course to take that you need to do & enrole on courses for the areas you want to train in ..that would be your best bet..i wish you good luck in finding a course & let us know how you get on xx

Hi, i currenlty have no qualifications either and within a year i was able to open my own slaon. i was just like you not sure which way to turn. i bought a facial and a body machine form a compnay called body ultimate based in liverpool. they havbe been going for ages, they are really supportive and really helped me build up my clientel and everything. its two machine one for the face and one for the body . the body machine does bust, buttocks friming tonieng and lifting. it alos perform a really effective anti celluite treatment and lymphatic drainage. Now the face machine on the other hand perform skin tightening, reduced lines and wrinkle, rejuvenates the skin. the face machine does 9 treatments altogethor.

they provided full training and it did not matter that i had no qualifications as the trainer was briliant and training was done at my home/salon. also they put me in touch wiht a very repitable insurer who does insure people using these machine without having any formal qualifications. all training is certified and the best thing was the two machine only came to £8300. with all the skincare products i could possibly need. its brilliant

heres there number 08000 730430. they will as well come to see you and give you a totally free no obligation demonstration.

i have never looked back (They also do spray tanning stuff too)
