I am finding my card payment receipts are fading just after 8 months.
How do you best store them?

Keep them away from heat and light. If your worried you can always photocopy them when you get them and staple the original to the page. or just keep the reciept with the invoice.
So long as the payment you write on your profit/loss sheet matches a withdrawal from your bank then its not a problem.

Photocopy them as they will fade out completely and you will need to keep them for 6 years with your accounting stuff for the inland revenue. I had the same problem with Sally's a couple of years ago, when I came to the end of the year and got out all my receipts a good two thirds of them were blank! Caused a lot of problems for me.
