Fast tan Fake Bake help!

Hi everyone I put on fake bake 60 min fast tan on about an hour ago, not gone as dark as I was hoping it to be a lot darker, I'm going out tonight so I've got another two hours before I have to wash it off.
Will it keep developing when it's washed off or will I just end up light shade x

Just washed it off and it's all come off I look as pale as before I did the tan my outfit is going to look pants now
